Guiu give reasons for choosing Chelsea football club as his new club

 Marc Guiu discusses his journey to Chelsea, future aspirations, and reasons for joining the club. Hailing from Barcelona, the 18-year-old has fulfilled a lifelong ambition by signing a long-term deal with the Blues, ending his lengthy association with Barcelona.


Guiu, a rising star in Spanish football and a fixture in the Spain Under-19 team, expressed his excitement upon joining Chelsea, highlighting his childhood dream of playing in the Premier League. He aims to replicate his success in La Liga and the Champions League, now in Chelsea blue.


Speaking from Cobham, Guiu emphasized his eagerness to integrate into his new environment and contribute to Chelsea's ambitions, particularly targeting success in the Champions League and the Premier League. His former coach at Barcelona praised Guiu's attributes, labeling him a dynamic center forward known for his physicality, aerial prowess, and clinical finishing.


When asked about his strengths, Guiu modestly described himself as goal-oriented and team-focused, stressing his dedication to improvement and versatility on the field. He becomes Chelsea's fourth summer signing, joining a youthful squad brimming with talent.


Guiu cited Chelsea's ambitious football project and the trust placed in him by the club as key factors in his decision to join. He praised the team's young talent and expressed confidence in achieving significant accomplishments together.


Guiu also acknowledged new head coach Enzo Maresca, whom he views as a top manager capable of guiding Chelsea to success. He looks forward to playing under Maresca's leadership and believes they can secure silverware together.
